Head of Product @ Physitrack Group
Shape Physitrack's product. Own discovery, build prototypes, and work across a digital health ecosystem touching millions. High autonomy, real ownership, category-leader upside.
Head of Product
Own Physitrack's product vision and strategy from NYC. Lead a distributed product team, stay hands on in discovery and prototyping, and shape a digital health ecosystem touching millions. High autonomy, real ownership, category leader upside.
Location, hours and eligibility
Location: New York City, full time, five days a week in our NY office.
Eligibility: If you already have the right to work in the United States, that is the simplest route. For the right person we will sponsor a visa and support relocation to New York.
Hours: Our Product and Engineering team currently sits in Poland and the UK, so you will start early to have overlap with European hours while still being present for our core NY office hours of 09:30 to 17:00. Accelerating from our $2m ARR base in North America in a fast moving SaaS market means there will be intense weeks. In exchange you get the autonomy, the ownership and the visibility that come with being the person who shapes it.
Team: Product. Reports to: Henrik, CEO.
Compensation and benefits
Base salary: $190,000 to $220,000, depending on experience
Revenue Achievement Bonus: See details below
401k with 4% employer match
$1,000 per month contribution to healthcare
20 days PTO, plus New York City mandatory sickness absence (40 hours)
Full access to Champion Health, our own wellbeing platform, for you and your family
Revenue Achievement Bonus
We want the person in this seat to share in what they help build, so we pay a bonus tied directly to growth of company ARR.
10% growth: 5% of base salary
20% growth: 10% of base salary
30% growth: 15% of base salary
40% growth or above: 20% of base salary
Performance between these levels is pro rated. The bonus is calculated on recurring revenue, measured against the agreed baseline at the start of the plan year, and is pro rated for a partial first year.
Why work for Physitrack
Some roles are a seat. This one is a stake. Physitrack is scaling fast in digital health, our US business is being built from New York right now, and the person who takes this role will own where the product goes next — with all the upside that comes from joining a company with the potential to become a category leader like Sword or Hinge Health.
About the role
We are looking for a Head of Product who wants their work to matter at scale. The products you would lead touch millions of people caring for their health, longevity and recovery: patients, practitioners, and everyday users across both clinical and consumer settings.
Think of this as the chief vision role for Physitrack. You own product strategy for the whole company — every product, every market — not a region and not a single line. We run an ecosystem of closely connected products, and holding the portfolio together is the job. One week you might be shaping something for a patient, the next for enterprise customers, the next for practitioners.
You will lead our product team from day one. That team is currently based in Poland and the UK, so leading well here means leading across distance and time zones, and growing the function as the business grows. But this is not a role where you manage from afar and little else. We want a leader who still does the work: you own discovery, you build to learn, you prototype your own ideas, and you work side by side with engineering to find the best solution — while setting the standard your team works to.
You will be our most senior product voice, reporting directly to our CEO.
What you'll do
Own the vision. Hold where Physitrack is going and why, and make it clear enough that the rest of the company can act on it.
Set product strategy for the whole company. The full portfolio, B2B and B2C, clinical and consumer — not a region, not a single product.
Lead and grow the team. Manage, coach and hire product managers across Poland, the UK and New York, and set the standard they work to.
Stay hands on. Run discovery yourself and build your own prototypes. Show something tangible rather than write a long document.
Build with engineering, not through it. You bring the problem, the prototype and your thinking, and shape the requirements together.
Hold the US market thesis. You sit in New York as we build the US business, so you own how we read that market across practitioners, clinics, employers and consumers.
Measure what matters, and influence at the top. Define success metrics, decide what to cut, and hold a position with Growth, Design, Legal and Compliance, the executive team and the board.
What we're looking for
Around five years or more in product management, including at least two years operating with genuine autonomy over a product area, in a discovery led, outcome oriented environment rather than feature factory delivery.
Experience leading product people. You have managed, mentored or hired product managers, and you can point to how you made them better.
Experience leading a distributed or remote team, or a strong sense of how you would. Our product and engineering people are in Poland and the UK, and you will be in New York.
A track record you can walk us through. Products you have taken from problem to shipped outcome, the discovery that got you there, and at least one call you got wrong and what you changed as a result.
Experience across a connected portfolio or multiple products, not a single feature area, and the judgement to prioritise across them.
Highly autonomous and hands on. You take an idea from observation to working prototype largely on your own, and you own ambiguity rather than waiting for direction.
A builder's instinct. You would rather show a prototype than write a long document, and you iterate quickly based on what you learn.
Comfort in a blurred product and engineering space. You define requirements with engineers instead of throwing specs over the wall.
Credibility with senior stakeholders. You can hold a position with Growth, Legal and Compliance, and the executive team, and change your mind well when the evidence says so.
Strong grasp of the US healthcare and wellness market across both B2B and B2C, and the range to think beyond it — our business spans Europe and Australia as well. Regulated environment experience is welcome but not essential.
Fluency with modern AI tools in your daily workflow, for example Claude and Cowork, Lovable, and AI assisted design and prototyping tools. These are how you will prototype solo and iterate fast, so you should reach for them instinctively.
Above all we want someone driven by impact, with an open mind and a hunger to keep learning. The tools and the market will keep changing, and we want someone energised by that rather than daunted by it.
How to apply
Send us your resume or CV with a short note to Jack, COO: why this role, what you value, and why you think you are a great fit.
We welcome applications from inside Physitrack. If you already work here, apply the same way and you will go through the same process, on the same footing, as external candidates.
Recruitment process
We keep this tight, because we know you have other options.
Application. Resume or CV plus a short note to Jack, COO.
Intro call with Jack, COO. 30 to 45 minutes on motivation, product fundamentals, ownership and how you lead.
Practical task. A short, real world task: identify a problem and build a living prototype using AI tools such as Claude, Cowork or Lovable. We are looking for a builder's instinct and fluency with modern tools.
Deep dive with Henrik, CEO, and one of our engineering leads. One hour walking through your task and shaping discovery and requirements together.
Final conversation with Kevin, Global Head of Growth. 45 minutes on the US market, vision, values and culture fit.
